Rainwater Harvesting class

My buddy, Marsha Cook, sent this notice out:

Subject: Save the Date for the Next Rain Water Harvesting Workshop on Sept. 28, Escondido

Hello Friends Interested In Rainwater Harvesting!

We are pleased to offer another County sponsored Rain Water Harvesting Workshop on September 28, 2013, (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon), just prior to October 1st, the official start of the rainy season!
The workshop will be held at the Rincon Del Diablo Water District Headquarters located at 1920 North Iris Lane, Escondido, CA 92026.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn from Candace Vanderhoff, a rain barrel expert at “RainThanks and Greywater.”  You will enjoy an educational presentation and then see the installation of a residential size rain barrel, similar to one you might want to install at your home.  You may even be asked to lend a hand, to help you learn, if you have the desire to do so!

Please sign up through the Solana Center Webpage link below, save the date on your personal calendar, and come learn about rainwater harvesting!
Pre-registration is recommended!
Click this link to register:

All preregistered attendees must complete the pre and post survey to have an opportunity to win a rain barrel and downspout diverter!

Please share this information with friends, neighbors and family members, who may be interested in learning about rainwater harvesting!

Hope to see you there!

Happy Rain Water Harvesting!

Marsha
